Another Opera with Ballet Under Langan's Baton Following Ravel this Weekend
Conductor Dylan Langan continues to make a name for himself as an emerging leader after conducting another opera at the podium this past weekend. The Child and The Spells by Maurice Ravel was "a sizeable challenge" for Langan, the Vera Causa Opera Orchestra, and The Contemporary School of Dance. Met with positive feedback from ballet dancers, singers, orchestra members, and patrons. Langan was very satisfied with the weekend's performances, counting the experience of conducting the 75+ person opera - with ballet - at the age of 25 among his largest podium milestones to date.
